Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset debuts

By: (more) | Audio, Sound & Speakers News | Posted: Aug 5, 2010 3:02 pm

I hate wires when it comes to headphones. The tower for my computer sits beside my desk, which is very large, making it hard for cables to reach without tearing my ears half off each time I move.

Logitech has unveiled a new set of headphones called the Wireless Gaming Headset G930 that will fix that problem thanks to no wires. The battery inside the headset is good for up to ten hours of use and the G930 has virtual surround sound tech.

Wireless connectivity is via 2.4GHz hardware good for a range of 40 feet. The headphones have three programmable buttons for VoIP chat shortcuts or other uses. Logitech uses 40mm drivers and the headphones can be plugged in to charge while they are in use. The G930 headphones will ship soon for $159.99.
