Netflix and pay channel Epix working on streaming deal

Unfortunately, the movie studios are still delaying streaming and other rental forms until the DVD has been on the market for a while.

Netflix is looking to expand its streaming offerings though and has opened up its checkbook to make that happen. Netflix is reportedly talking with pay network Epix about a streaming deal worth nearly a billion dollars over five years.
Epix isn't a name many have heard of, but the pay channel has some nice deals in place for movies with Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM. There is no word on when the deal might be finished.
