First Android Trojan idenified by Kaspersky

Looks like it's time for Android owners to check their bills; the first Trojan has been identified that runs on the Android platform. Kaspersky, the well known antivirus seller, has identified the virus as the Trojan-SMS.AndroidOS.FakePlayer.a and adds an extension that sends SMS messages to "premium numbers," charging you a few bucks in the process.
The Trojan only works on Russian networks and is fairly basic, but everything has to have a start and this is not a good path for any system to run down. Get ready for smartphone antivirus solutions to become awfully popular.
