Windows Phone 7 head to head vs. Android Nexus One and iPhone 4

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Aug 25, 2010 2:00 am

With all of the noise surrounding the pending drop of Windows Phone 7 devices, I know a lot of you are wondering how it stacks up against the Android and iPhone. The folks at pocketnow wondered the same thing, and fortunately had an LG Panther with a beta version of Windows Phone 7 to compare.

Considering this is only an early beta version, Windows Phone 7 seems to stack up fairly nicely against the competition; only lagging slightly behind its more polished competition in web browsing. The only thing I noticed was that the difference in screens is a bit striking, but that's not WP7's fault. Overall, it's more good news for Microsoft as they try to crash the Android/iPhone smartphone party.
