Network sharing for Orange and T-Mobile UK customers coming October 5th
The Orange and T-Mobile merger originally went down back in May in the U.K., and now customers of both companies are going to start reaping the benefits on October 5th. This is the target date that Everything Everywhere, the name of the joint venture, will allow customers of both Orange and T-Mobile to roam freely on either network.

The plan will allow customers to access whichever signal is stronger in their current area for enhanced call strength. Plans are also in place for mid-call automatic network switching and "enhanced data and internet coverage," but these features aren't planned to release until next year. 30 million customers will be affected by these changes by Everything Everywhere, so a big chunk of the U.K. will be happy with this move.
