Combine collective offers Mac users a wooden tray for keyboard and more

By: (more) | Peripherals News | Posted: Sep 17, 2010 3:02 pm

Mac and Windows users alike have to find some way to keep their desks organized when they are working. With a mouse, keyboard, media remotes, speakers, and other gear on your desk things can get very crowded if you don't keep organized. A company called Combine Collective has announced three different wooden keyboard trays for Mac users.

The trays are made from black walnut wood and are handmade in Canada. There are three versions of the tray and all of them are built with the same methods. The construction uses solid and jointed hard wood, water-based glue, and food safe stain finishes for one of the best-looking keyboard trays I have ever seen.

One of the trays is a version made to hold the wireless Mac keyboard, a media remote, and the new Magic Trackpad. I'm not a big fan of the remote control being in the middle of the keyboard and trackpad personally. This version costs $79. A version with just the keyboard and trackpad slots is $74, and a tray for the keyboard alone is $69.
