Amazon Kindle's first paid app: Scrabble

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Sep 25, 2010 3:19 am

Yes, the Kindle can be used for more than enjoying a good book and basic internet browsing. The Kindle has some app functionality too, but until now they had been free. Amazon has now released their first "premium" app: Scrabble.

Enjoy the classic game on the Kindle DX or the 2nd and 3rd generation Kindles. You can play against the Kindle or with a friend using "Pass and Play," where you hand the device back and forth. All of this Scrabble goodness will only cost you five bucks, and can be downloaded via Amazon Whispernet.
