Gateway have unveiled a new notebook, the NV59C66U with integrated WiMAX wireless connectivity and a deluxe look and feel.

The Gateway NV59C66U uses the Intel 6250 wireless card, which can connect to both WiMAX and Wi-Fi networks. Because of this, the Gateway NV59C66U will be able to be connected to mobile networks on the move - while at home, or on the road (once connected to a WiMAX provider).

The Gateway NV series feature Intel Core i3 and Core i5 as well as the AMD Athlon and AMD Turion processors. Supporting up to 4GB of memory, upgradeable to 8GB total. Storage wise, we have 320 and 500GB.

Other features include a High Defition webcam that allows web chat and video email with incredible clarity thanks to its 1280x1024 resolution, Gigabyte Ethernet connectivity ensures fast wired connections. The Gateway NV59C66U also features a high definition LED-backlit TFT widescreen display - the Gateway NV Series have 2 sizes: 15.6 and 17.1", using resolutions of 1366x768 and 1600x900 respectively.

The Gateway NV series also features a HDMI port for customers who want to plug the notebook up to their TV or Home Theater through a single high definition cable.

The Gateway NV Series also feature DVD or Blu-Ray drives, giving customers greater flexibility when it comes to choice in media playback. Media card reader and USB slots can be used to get access to your precious photos or videos. The NV Series also features "MyBackup" which gives customers a way to quickly and easily back-up all important files to another location such as a USB drive or another hard drive.

Gateway's popular "social networking" button is integrated into the NV Series, so customers can access their social networks including Facebook, YouTube and Flickr with a single touch of a button - now that's impressive!

Gateway NV Series availability is in the coming weeks - pricing starts at $479.99 where the NV59C66u with integrated WiMax is priced at $699.99 and is available now.
