Sprint now offering refurbished smartphones at discounted prices

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Oct 13, 2010 2:53 am

Want to get in on the smartphone craze but don't quite have the up-front loot for the newest and shiniest phones? Sprint is looking to help you. A limited selection of refurbished phones will be made available that are reset to factory settings and free of cosmetic defects for highly discounted prices.

The phones included in the initial rollout for current customers are the BlackBerry Tour for $79.99, the green Samsung Reclaim and the blue or pink Sanyo 2700 for $49.99. New contract customers can get a refurbished HTC Hero or Tour for $29.99 or the other listed phones for free. The phones only have a 30 day return policy, but it's not a bad deal if you don't have up to $200 up front for something brand new.
