ASUS with several tablets on the horizon

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Oct 30, 2010 2:25 am

It's no secret that the tablet market is looking to get pretty saturated in the next few months, and ASUS is looking to get their piece of the pie with several offerings of their own. They have tablets in four form factors looking to start launching in December.

The big boy of the group is a 12 inch tablet that will run Windows on an Intel chipset. There will be two seven inch models, one sporting WiFi and the other with "3.5G" and phone capabilities. A pair of nine inch models are also on the horizon, one with the similar Intel/Windows setup as the twelve incher with the other Tegra 2 model running Android. A ten inch EeePad has been spotted in the wild as well. All in all, it looks like ASUS may have a tablet for anyone when these bad boys start hitting shelves.
