Super Talent offers super affordable USB 3.0 Flash Drives

By: (more) | Storage News | Posted: Oct 30, 2010 3:39 am

USB 3.0 has been steadily seeing a decline in price to make it more accessible to the average user, and Super Talent is breaking down the price barriers with their new line of flash drives. Their new Express Duo line of USB 3.0 Flash Drives will offer an 8 GB drive for $14 USD, and a 16GB version for $29.

"The USB 3.0 Express DUO is perhaps our most exciting USB 3.0 flash drive to date. There's simply really no reason to buy a USB 2.0 flash drive anymore," stated CH Lee, COO of SuperTalent. It's hard to argue with this as USB 3.0 offers double to triple the real world transfer speeds of USB 2.0 and you'd be hard pressed to find a high quality USB 2.0 drive at these prices. Look for these to hit retail around November 11th.
