Chrome OS has been touted for a while, with more and more news as time goes on - with Acer making the biggest splash online saying that it had Chrome OS devices on the way.

Information is now leaking out is coming from - as the Source of this article state "shadowy component players" - who are the middle men responsible for the hardware inside your tech thingies - are making this statement. They are saying that Google will be releasing a self-branded unit, of their Chrome OS.

It could be a good move - Chrome OS could be a bullet fired toward Microsoft, whether they yell "Trinity, help" before it's fired and start bullet-timing their way out of it, will be the far bigger question.
