Today is the day for Android/app lovers!

Facebook had their mobile event today, and they've given some love to the Android version of their constantly expanding social networking site/program/black hole, Facebook.

Android has been lagging behind in the Facebook app department - but now has Places, Groups and some good improvements to the notifications. The iPhone app is getting an update as well and should be live as we speak.
