Google Instant debuts in Beta on mobile devices
Google Instant, which debuted in September and offers a list of links predicting what you are searching for as you type in the Search Bar, is now moving past just the desktop platform and onto mobile devices.
Android devices running Froyo and iPhones and iPods running iOS 4 or better will be able to access a beta version of Google Instant when using Google on their mobile device. After tapping a "turn on" link below the search box when using it for the first time, Google searching will operate similarly to how it now does on the desktop version of Google. 3G and WiFi networks seem to be best for the service for now, and it can be turned off at any time.
