3D is becoming all the rage these days, and Interactive Fabrication may be bringing it into the app world with the "Beautiful Modeler" iPad app. Using the iPad's multitouch screen to control 3D modeling, this looks like something Pixar might use to put together one of their movies.

While it's not available via the App Store as an official app, this 3D application looks more like the basis for other apps and Interactive Fabrication has made the source code public for devs who might want to play with it and compile an actual app. It's a bit difficult to explain in text, so check out the video after the break and a lot more at the Source Link.
