The Beatles finally come to iTunes

By: (more) | Audio, Sound & Speakers News | Posted: Nov 17, 2010 3:28 am

Apple has come to terms with one of their long time foes and Beatles fans everywhere who use iTunes are rejoicing. Apple, EMI, and Beatles-founded company Apple Corps have come to terms and now all 13 of the Beatles studio albums are now available on iTunes.

If you've visited Apple's homepage today, you've already noticed the Beatle-centric flavor that their site has taken. In addition to the studio albums being available, iTunes also has links to the Beatles box set, video highlights, and even a Ping page for those using the new function. "It has been a long and winding road to get here. Thanks to the Beatles and EMI, we are now realizing a dream we've had since we launched iTunes ten years ago," said Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
