The man with all the news over at The Inquirer has information from AMD Zone saying that AMD has confirmed there will be no Clawhammer processor before Christmas this year. AMD fans hanging out for the new line of processors from AMD will have to wait a bit longer yet.
That confirms early INQUIRER reports, when AMD Hammerman Richard Heye told us that systems using the chip, probably to be called Athlon Ultra or Super or whatever, won't be available before December.More information at The Inquirer.
Several third party chipset manufacturers have also told the INQUIRER that support from them is unlikely before the first quarter of next year.
