3DMark 11 delayed - last minute bugs to be squashed

By: (more) | Software News | Posted: Nov 30, 2010 12:08 am

Futuremark has decided to delay the release of their popular benchmarking program 3DMark 11 for a week. The decision comes after the team noticed a few bugs in the program and rather than release it now and then release a patch in a week, they have decided to delay the launch and fix the bugs first.

They've said it might take a day or a week [to find the bugs and fix them] but the new launch date will be confirmed soon.

This is probably in relation to the new GPU's launched recently [GTX580] and the soon-to-be launched 6900 series from AMD.
