If you are familiar with the line of tiny computers from Lintop, you might know the Lintop 2 that debuted before that had an AMD processor inside and tiny dimensions. Lintop has unveiled the latest in its line of SFF machines and this time the rig has an Intel Atom inside. The machine is called the Lintop 3 and is nearly twice the size of the Lintop 2. The new machine measures 23.5 cm x 23.6 cm x 5.5 cm and it uses an Intel Atom processor at 1.6GHz.
The machine has 1GB of RAM and that can be expanded to 2GB if wanted. It uses 2GB of flash storage and has a Gigabit Ethernet port. The machine weighs in at 3.9 pounds and has a pair of audio inputs and outputs. The machine also has VGA and DVI outputs and supports up to 1920 x 1440 resolution with 3D graphics.
It has six USB 2.0 ports, which is a lot for a small machine, dual internal SATA ports, and has a single PCIe slot. The machine runs the Lintop OS, which is a version of Ubuntu. The machine has all sorts of uses from business desktop to digital signage and more. It only needs 20W of power when in use and you can pick one up right now for 340 EUR.
