nVidia launch NVS300 - 8 monitor output support

By: (more) | Video Cards News | Posted: Dec 3, 2010 1:00 am

nVidia has launched the NVS300 - the card is primarily aimed at business users rather than the gaming or design professionals. The NVS300 replaces the NVS295 and should offer better performance-per-watt and should give a 25-percent reduction in power consumption.

The card is a low-profile design with passive cooling, so it will make no noise whatsoever. The biggest point of this card is 8-output monitor support which is an amazing feat considering it's MSRP is set at $149. The card would represent amazing value for money if used in a stock-trading setup where such a user would use 4, 6, 8, 10+ monitors in a setup.

The card will be available in PCIe 16x and 1x versions.
