Team Group launches new F108 flash drive in time for Christmas

By: (more) | Storage News | Posted: Dec 7, 2010 6:06 pm

Team Group is one of those companies that are always making up some sort of new and crazy flash drives that are aimed at people that collect storage devices or want something a bit outside of the norm. The latest entry for the company is called the F108 and it is aimed at the user that might want to give a festive looking drive as a geeky Christmas present.

The F108 has a shiny red metallic finish that is decorated with white snowflakes and a Christmas tree. The F108 comes in five different storage capacities including 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB. The drives offer nice performance for USB 2.0 offerings. The 2GB and 4GB version has a 15MB/s max read and 5MB/s max write speed.

The 8GB and 16GB version has a max read of 20MB/s and a max write of 10MB/s. The 32GB has 30MB/s max read and 15MB/s max write speed. The flash drive measures 59mm x 17.7mm x 7.7mm and works with just about any operating system. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
