Super Mario All-Stars for Wii has four classic games on one disc

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Dec 14, 2010 5:04 pm

I would be willing to bet that any gamer that was around when the Super Nintendo game system came out way back in the day spent time playing Super Mario Bros. That was the game to have and probably the title I spent most of my summers playing as a kid. It's hard to get away from the fact that Mario is turning 25 this year and to celebrate Nintendo has been offering up some special titles.

The latest of the special titles is called Super Mario All-Stars. The game is for the Wii and is a limited edition package that has four classic Mario games that you can play on the Wii console. Along with the games, the special bundle also has a soundtrack CD and a commemorative book with illustrations from the game.

The special edition software bundle will be offered while supplies last for $29.99. The game has Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3. Each of the games has updated graphics and sound and supports all of the Wii controller types and the Game Cube controller.
