Pokemon Black and white version to launch on March 6

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Dec 28, 2010 7:00 pm

If you are a fan of the Nintendo DS and a fan of Pokemon, you have probably been following the coming title for the DS called Pokemon Black and Pokemon white. The games are basically the same under the specialized cover and the titles will be offered for the Wii and the DS. The only difference in the game versions is that each color pack has a special creature that can only be caught in that game.

Nintendo has announced that the games will hit store shelves on March 6 and that each of them will bring 150 new Pokemon and a new area for players to explore. The Black version of the game will have a special metro area called Black City and the white version will have a lush forest area called White Forrest on in that version.

The Black version of the game also gets an exclusive Pokemon called Reshiram and the White version gets Zekrom. I bet hardcore fans will be buying both versions and that is exactly what Nintendo wants. The games will sell for $34.99 each and can be pre-ordered right now.
