Back in 1996 when the original Scream came out, I was young, just 13. I remember my parents borrowing the VHS (ha!!) from the local video store and telling us it was a horror. I didn't think much at the time, but that movie defined my childhood. It was a smash hit everywhere and was a great new entry in the horror genre. I can nearly talk every line from the movie from watching it that much as a teenager... and now? The sequel to the original trilogy! JOY!

The trailer doesn't show off too much, but goes into how there is now an entire new spin on horror since the first tongue-in-cheek stuff from the original trilogy about the "rules" of horror. The rules have changed and so has Scream - cannot wait for this one!!

I also love how they were able to get the originals from the series, I've been reading every tid bit of news on this and when they secured Neve Campbell (because she's so overwhelmed with work these days!) it was like hearing the best news on earth.
