Verizon is coming out with both barrels blazing to get Apple fans on board when their iPhone 4 launches. Although their tiered data plan is already in place, Verizon is offering a $30 unlimited data plan for early iPhone 4 adopters.

This will not be a permanent deal; Verizon COO Lowell McAdams stated that this is a limited time offer and the tiered data plans would be put back into place shortly after launch for iPhone 4 users. With AT&T's similar $30 unlimited plan already being extinct, this looks like another shot fired to score some of their userbase. Bring on the competition; it looks like the only real winner in this thing will be Apple.
