Canon unveils new T3i and T3 DSLR cameras

Canon has announced some new DSLR cameras today that are in the entry-level range for shooters. The new cameras are the EOS Rebel T3 and T3i. the T3i is the new Rebel DSLR flagship camera and has some really cool features. The camera has an 18MP sensor and a 3-inch Vari-Angle rear LCD that has high resolution.

The T3i also has a wealth of automatic shooting modes along with manual modes and it and the lower end T3 DSLRs both have new menus to make it easier for new users to learn to shoot with the cameras. The T3i and T3 share many of the same features, the biggest differences are price and the T3 is a 12.1MP camera. The T3i records 1080p resolution video and the T3 can record 720p HD video.

 

Both of the cameras have DIGIC 4 image processors and 9-point autofocus. They also have wide ISO ranges and will ship in March. The T3i with body only will sell for $799.99. Bundle the body with a kit EF-S 18-55mm lens and the price is $899.99 or with an 18-135mm lens the price moves up to $1099. The T3 will sell for $599.99 with an 18-55mm lens.
