Apple updates their models like clockwork, which makes this type of news kinda moot - but, we live on the bleeding edge so here we go. 9to5mac reports that Best Buy stores have placed "Dummy SKUs" for an updated MacBook Pro range. According to Best Buys inventory system, the new MBP line will feature an $1199 model - which is the base price for the current 13-inch MacBook Pro.

This news is possibly pointing toward a reality of no price change for the new models. The best bit? A release of March 11, 2011 (one day before my birthday, fate??) is what Best Buy lists, but without a way of confirming this release date it's just rumor for now.
