Microsoft's Rahul Sood says every PC industry exec should use a MacBook

By: (more) | Laptops News | Posted: Mar 2, 2011 1:42 am

Voodoo founder and ex-HP guru, Rahul Sood has loved controversy. Short of turning up to an event in an Egg ala Lady Gaga, he has always loved causing quite the stir. Today is no different, he expressed his pure love for Apple hardware by saying "Every executive in the PC industry should use an Apple notebook".

He later tweeted that the real meaning behind that comment was that they were of higher quality than those that come with Windows by default. It sounds like a death stare toward his current employer, Microsoft, but it seems like it is a dig at his previous employer, HP.

A series of private status updates points toward HP's unwillingness to compete at the high end of the laptop marketplace. With his message reading "We could have done it - just need a few years of patience, and investment in our tooling/process," continuing to say "We really could have done it. [...] ‎... especially with webOS, what a combination that would have been."
