ECS Xabre400 @ Legion Hardware

By: (more) | Posted: Jul 25, 2002 4:58 pm

Steven over at Legion Hardware has posted a review of the ECS Xabre400 graphics card. For a low end card, this is certainly one you should keep an eye on. Our sample from ECS is being put through the tests, and a review will be posted shortly.

Well what have we made of the Xabre 400 GPU and of course the ECS AG400? To be honest for me it's all mixed feelings. Some aspects of the card I love and there are those I do not. When you purchase a graphics card of any price, you expect to plug it in, install the drivers and play some 3D games. You may even want to run a few standard benchmark programs such as 3Dmark2001. Depending on what games you plan on playing and what benchtesting software you choose to use will determine whether you can plug and play.
