EA Nabs iPad Game Of The Week With Max And The Magic Marker

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Apr 21, 2011 5:11 am

From the blog of Electronic Arts:

There are two things that are pretty nice: when hard work is rewarded and getting a chance to play a fun game.

Today, we get the best of both worlds, as the EA Mobile game Max and the Magic Marker has been declared the iPad game of the week on the App Store and is currently the #1 selling game on the store.

It's very flattering that our friends at Apple love this game as much as we do, and the response from consumers has been fantastic. You can get in on the fun and purchase Max and the Magic Marker for $4.99 on the App Store!

Congratulations to EA Mobile for that honor. If you don't know anything about the game, you can download it and/or check out some screenshots here. If popularity is any indication, the game's 58 levels must be highly entertaining. revolving around the eponymous Max, armed with a magic marker of the most literal variety- everything he draws becomes a reality (don't get too excited, only within the game itself). Players use this ability to solve all sorts of interesting physics-based puzzles.

Happy free-handing everyone.
