Super Mario Bros. Much Easier With Portal Gun

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Apr 29, 2011 1:58 am

Shocker.

This great re-imagining of the iconic Nintendo Entertainment System shows just how darn useful a Portal gun can be- in pretty much any situation.

I think it's pretty evident that the addition of a Portal gun into any experience that, you know, didn't revolve around creating portals would be a literal game-changer. But it's fun to imagine some of them, isn't it?

Asteroids: Create a couple infinite looping shot. You never have to move or spin out of control. Just don't get in the way of your own shots.

Pac-Man: Ghosts got you blocked on both sides? Not anymore they don't!

Street Fighter: Hadouken your opponent from behind while facing them.

TMNT: Turtes in Time: Heroes in a halfshell- Turtle Portal!

Tetris: Don't know where to put that piece? Give yourself some time to think.

What do you all think? Any other amusing examples?
