Apple have today finally unveiled what we've all know for a while - updated Sandy Bridge-powered iMacs. The new iMacs have next-gen Intel quad-core processors, AMD HD 6000-series graphics, Thunderbolt I/O and a new FaceTime HD Camera. The 21.5-inch iMac features a single Thunderbolt port, with the 27-inch model includes two Thunderbolt ports.

The new iMac also includes a built-in FaceTime HD camera which allows users to call friends of family and enjoy HD chat with them, this is compatible with all FaceTime HD-enabled Macs and standard resolution calls with iPad 2, iPhone 4 and the current generation iPod touch.

The next-gen iMacs obviously include Intel's Sandy Bridge-based CPUs, with the lowest offering a quad-core Intel Core i5 with the options to upgrade to a Core i7 processor.
