Angry Birds for the web ready for download now

Google just got done announcing that the smash hit mobile game Angry Birds is coming to the web at the Google IO 2011 Day 2 keynote.

As promised, you can now grab Angry Birds for the web through the Chrome Web Store right now. You'll need an updated Chrome browser (it is coded with HTML5 as a requirement), but I just checked quickly and it did also load fine in IE9 and Firefox 4. Naturally since it has launched first in beta for Chrome, you would expect it to work best in Chrome. We might do some follow-up shortly.

For now kids, go and grab it here.
