Computex Taipei 2011 - One of Nicole's last stops at Computex was at the Microsoft booth where she spotted the damn sexy Samsung 900x notebook.
This is an Intel Core i5 based notebook running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit edition with a 1366 x 768 resolution curtsey of the 13.3-inch SuperBright Plus widescreen LED display. While Nicole was impressed with the backlit keyboard, she mentioned that it had a lot of flex and that may be an issue for some. However, she was again impressed with the Apple-like oversized track pad that looks rather impressive.
The battery included is a six cell Lithium, 6300 mAh, which Samsung claims to provide up to 7 hours of battery life. Nicole was also impressed by the inclusion of a MicroSD slot on the side of the notebook, which is pretty rare.
It comes with a ripple shape design on the side and it is a super thin and stylish notebook. It is so thin the some of the side ports are hidden away. It weighs in at 2.9 pounds including the weight of the standard battery and comes with a three year warranty.
