RunCore unleash 6Gbps mSATA SandForce SSD

The folks over at RunCore have release the RunCore T50 mSATA which is based off a SandForce SF-2281 controller and features sequential transfer rates of up to 550MB/sec read, 470MB/sec writes. The maximum I/O performance of 60,000 4KB random write IOPS and 35,000 random read IOPS delivers massive performance for various different uses. The RunCore T50 is compatible with SATA 6Gbps and supports most mainstream OSs such as Windows, OS X, Linux, Unix, Solaris and Vxworks.

RunCore's T50 is available in three different capacities: 30GB, 60GB and 120GB. Each come with a 3-year warranty and is aimed at high-end portable laptops.

 

Also released is the RunCore I50 mSATA which delivers sequential transfer rates of up to 280MB/sec read, 270MB/sec write as well as maximum I/O performance of 45,000 4KB random write IOPS and 30,000 random read IOPS, this product is aimed at tablets and light laptops compatible with SATA 3Gbps.

 

The RunCore mSATA products will hit mass production later this month.
