AT&T indicates possible iPhone 5 launch date - October 4th

By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Jul 13, 2011 3:52 pm

While in no way confirmed, some internal AT&T information that has leaked out via 9to5mac gives a possible hint that Apple's iPhone 5 might be launching October 4th.

The segment surrounded by the red border above indicates that AT&T is changing its monthly fees for iPhone insurance from $4.99 to $6.99 at this time, also noting that this is in conjunction with a new tier, "Device Tier 3" which is being speculated as 'most probably the iPhone 5'.

At this time we still don't know a great deal about what changes it will bring over the iPhone 4, though sources have said that it will be powered by the A5 processor and include an 8MP camera.
