Audio specialists Turtle Beach are jumping in early in anticipation of the likely massive success that will be the third iteration in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, set for worldwide release on November 8.

A press release today sheds light on several new limited edition Modern Warfare 3 themed headsets hitting shelves right around the time of launch of the game. Turtle Beach calls them the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Ear Force headsets, a limited run with four models on offer.

Turtle Beach states in their press release that thanks to a partnership with Activision, they were able to obtain unique sets of audio presets designed specifically by the audio teams at developers Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games - this allowed Turtle Beach to include custom-optimized presets for these headsets to enhance the overall audio experience for the game.

There are compatible headsets for all three major platforms; Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Here are some details on the individual headsets in the upcoming MW3 lineup, including MSRP (USD) pricing :-

• Ear Force DELTA (EFD) - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3-Optimized Programmable Wireless Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound Headset with Bluetooth Chat.
