New Alpenföhn Triglav CPU cooler holds "biggest heatpipe" record
Euro based mob EKL is readying up a pretty beefy looking CPU cooler under its Alpenföhn brand for release early next month, the Triglav. While looking like your traditional tower-style design, it's very non traditional in the sense that it uses whopping 10mm-thick heatpipes (!!); three of them.

The heatpipes are made of nickel-plated copper and make their way through 46 aluminum fins that are arranged in a turbulence-inducing pattern (improving heat dissipation, thus giving the ability to safely lower fan speed).

The fan included with the Alpenföhn Triglav is 120mm in size, a "Hydro Bearing" fan operating between 850 and 1500RPM via PWM (with up to 21.4dB of sound output).

The Euro market will see it hit shelves at €39.90 (around $57 USD).
