Asetek Vapochill and Pentium 4 Northwood Report

By: (more) | Posted: Aug 10, 2002 11:34 pm

Chillblast has decided to see what happens when they cross an Asetek Vapochill case with an Intel Pentium 4 Northwood.

Perhaps I was being little tentative earlier on. From here on no quarter would be given. Voltage would be pumped in at the maximum 15% over default. FSB would be increased by 6MHz increments (108 CPU MHz at a time). At around 160MHz FSB, the Abit's 845 chipset it self starts to overheat a little, but that's nothing a 40mm papst chipset-sized fan won't solve.
