Benchmarks indicate iPhone 4S to be 68% faster than iPhone 4!

Some Geekbench benchmark results have shown up on the web showing off the performance on tap with Apple's new iPhone 4S and it's looking like quite the speedy smart phone indeed.

If you were impressed with the iPhone 4's performance, you'll be astounded by the iPhone 4S' thanks to its dual core A5 processor running at 800MHz. While still packing the same 512MB RAM, the processor pushes the Geekbench result to a very impressive score of 623, versus the original iPhone 4's score of 360.

This equates to the new iPhone being a whopping 68% faster than its predecessor, and only 17% slower than the iPad 2 with the same processor used, but running 200MHz quicker at 1GHz.
