AMD Catalyst 11.10 Preview drivers, third release - combines Battlefield 3 and RAGE support

AMD have released a third version of their Catalyst 11.10 "Preview" drivers, where they've combined the unified RAGE and Battlefield 3 support of the version 2 driver, with the long list of associated bug fixes, and have also included the following improvements:

Reduces random crashing and stability encountered when playing Rage on Windows® 7 32-bit edition

Reduces object / animation flickering and texture corruption encountered when playing Rage

Reduces stuttering seen on Dual CPU and Tri CPU core systems

 

If you want to get your hands on the Catalyst 11.10 Version 3 Preview Driver, you can grab it from this knowledge base entry on AMD's website. Installers are available for Windows 7, Vista and XP. AMD's Terry Makedon, who posts as CatalystMaker on Twitter says that this driver is essentially identical to the final, Microsoft-certified Catalyst 11.10 thats due to drop on October 31, 2011.
