Telstra's T-Box Remote, now available for Android

By: (more) | Software News | Posted: Oct 20, 2011 12:25 am

The Telstra T-Box has taken it a step further with their set-top box which not only plugs into a Bigpond broadband internet connection and a television, enabling Free-to-Air TV and broadband TV to be delivered via your home TV set, but now sports an Android app.

Telstra has created an Android-based application which acts like a remote control for your T-Box. It's free, fun, and easy-to-use and turns your Android device into a remote control. With the T-Box Remote application on your Android device, you can control your T-Box where you can get access to your home network. Just like the T-Box remote control, the Android app can be used to change channels, adjust the volume, navigate menu items and more on your T-Box.

The T-Box Remote application is available right now for free from the Android Market and you can grab the application here.
