Thermaltake HardCano 2 Review

By: (more) | Posted: Aug 20, 2002 11:22 pm

ExclusivePC Has released their review of the Thermaltake HardCano 2.

Many people are aware of the damaging heat produced by CPUs, RAM, and Video chips and is why most of them now carry heat-sinks, but not many have put attention towards the heat produced by a hard drive. Hard drives have always produced heat but never as much as they do now when most new models spin at 7,200 RPM. Heat is especially noticed on setups with 10,000 and 15,000 RPM SCSI drives. This product fits in a 5.25" bay and has two LCD temperature displays in the front with a small fan in the center that blows air to your hard drive which is placed behind the unit.
