Android Market exceeds 10 billion app downloads
Google are enjoying some phenomenal success on their Android Market, where they've just hit 10 billion app downloads. Rewind just six months back to July and they were sitting pretty at 6 billion. This means they're seeing nearly one billion app downloads per month.

To celebrate this milestone, Google have partnered up with some of the Android developers who have contributed to this milestone to make a bunch of Android apps available at amazing prices. Starting today and for the next 10 days, Google have a set to awesome apps available for just 10 cents each. Yes, 10 cents!
Today, they're starting with Asphalt 6 HD, Color & Draw for Kids, Endomondo Sports Tracker Pro, Fieldrunners HD, Great Little War Game, Minecraft, Paper Camera, Sketchbook Mobile, Soundhound Infinity and Swiftkey X.
Google have also taken time to thank the developers who created the apps that have gotten them to this 10 billion app download milestone.
