Only in Japan: Prevent car theft, by scanning your butt

Yes, that title is correct, no typos, no mistakes. A unique car seat has been built in Japan (no way!) and includes sensors within the cushion of the seat which measure your weight, posture and butt shape, and lock down the cars engine if the seat decides its not your sexy ass.

The seat was developed by a group of researchers at Tokyo's Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology. It uses a system of 360 sensors to measures the pressure people apply on it. The information used is then aggregated to show data like the highest point of pressure, area of contact on the seat and other factors, which point toward a 98-percent chance of correctly identifying the driver.

Researchers in Japan have designed a car seat that uses sensors to measure a person's weight and ass-shape. The technology stops the car from starting for anyone other than the owner, thus preventing theft. Who needs face detection these days? People might start cloning butts to steal cars, though...
