Google pulls "Official" Siri for Android app from the Android Market, slaps developer
App developer "Official App" posted up an app on the Android Market late last year (December 28th to be precise) called "Siri for Android". The app was sneaky enough to even use Apple's own Siri icon for the app.

Google were quick to pounce on it, and not only removed the app, but removed the entire catalogue of apps from "Official App". This wasn't before 1000+ people downloaded the app, though. Considering the developer is named "Official App", it could dupe people into thinking that they are in fact, "official".
People can download the app, and it makes both Google and Apple look like fools. These are the issues Google face with little-to-no-checks on their own marketplace, where developers don't need to face application approval and have the power to launch copyrighted or trademark infringing applications within minutes.
