Sony starts the new year with updated Tablet S pricing, now starts at $400 for 16GB model

Sony have kicked off the new year with some new pricing on their 9.4-inch Tablet S. They've dropped the price by $100 which now puts the 16GB model at $400 and the 32GB model at $500.

This price drop follows a temporary $50 price cut, which Sony announced on December 15th. This makes the tablet another $50 cheaper, which just cannot be complained about. With the new pricing, it takes it out of competition with ASUS' Transformer Prime and Apple's iPad 2.

It now fights alongside fellow warriors such as Samsung's Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and the original ASUS Transformer, as well as both Toshiba Thrive tablets.

With the updated pricing, will you grab a Sony Tablet S?
