Apple just seeded iOS 5.1 beta 3 to developers, with the new version arriving as Built 9B5131a, up from the previous Built 9B5127a released as iOS 5.1 Beta 2 when it hit on December 12. iOS 5.1 beta 3 includes a new API which helps developers flag app content that should not be backed up. iOS 5.1 beta 3 also restores the toggle that allows users to turn off 3G cellular data access.

iOS 5.1 beta 3 is available on the following devices: iPad 2 (Wi-Fi), iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G (GSM), iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G (CDMA), iPad (Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G), iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 (GSM), iPhone 4 (CDMA), iPhone 3GS, iPod touch (4th generation) and finally, iPod touch (3rd generation.
