CD-RW drives have become very popular over the last year due to the transition of High-Speed broadband internet and the low prices of CD Writable Media discs. Because of these factors almost everybody has a CD Writer. Older CD writers were very slow (1x-4x), and had serious reliability issues, and one would not dare to touch his or her computer during the burning process because of Buffer Under-Run (When a computer cannot deliver data fast enough for a burner). However the days of this common problem are long past us.
