Download of the Day: FlashFXP 4.1.8 Build 1701

Our Download of the Day is FlashFXP 4.1.8 Build 1701 (with 67% off!)

FTP clients have been around for a while, so it's pretty easy to pick one of the whole pack and see what it's up to. Of course, it's always a lot easier to choose the one that fits you best, but finding the right software solution is in most cases impossible.

FlashFXP on the other hand claims it can be used by all types of users because it has so many features that it can easily serve its purpose no matter if it has to deal with a beginner or a professional user.

The interface doesn't seem to be much different from what we've seen in other FTP clients, but there are a lot of goodies hidden under the hood.

For example, FlashFXP supports multiple transfer types, be them PC to Server, Server to PC or FTP server to FTP server sessions, but at the same time it can also schedule task for managing transfers even if the user is not in front of the monitor.

On the other hand, the interface could be slightly improved. Since we're living in a tab-browsing era, implementing tabs to allow users manage transfers or connect to multiple servers at the same time would be great.

Still, FlashFXP remains a great app. It can set rules for file transfers, it comes with a text editor to open files straight from the server without downloading them, it could backup and import configuration settings and much more.

So using this program is just a matter of time, no matter how many other similar apps out there. FlashFXP is one of the best on the market and is definitely worth a chance.
